Health & Safety Update: COVID-19
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
ABITEC Corporation has been closely following the development of the COVID-19 since the first case in the United States was reported in January. In recent weeks, ABITEC has proactively taken steps at each of our operating locations to prevent or mitigate the spread the virus.
To date, we have provided relevant communications to each of our employees on how to safeguard themselves from becoming exposed, including, but not limited to, restricted travel, good personal hygiene practices and work from home options. We have also implemented self-quarantine policies if employees suspect they may have been exposed and what to do if they experience symptoms.
In addition, we have eliminated all unnecessary visits to our sites from vendors and provided sanitation stations and informational postings at all our public entrances.
At this time, the communities that we operate in are currently categorized as low risk. We understand that events can rapidly change and are in constant communication with State and County Health Departments and Officials.
Currently ABITEC Corporation is not experiencing any impact on production, transportation, and/or availability of our products due to the occurrence of the virus. ABITEC remains committed to ensuring you receive the products and services you have come to expect and will update you if any potential for disruption may develop.
Sincerely,
Jay Gasser
