Many of today's ophthalmic formulations exhibit the same solubility challenges as per-oral dosage forms. A recognized way to overcome these challenges is to incorporate the ophthalmic active solubilized within an oil in water emulsion. ABITEC’s highly-functional lipids are specifically designed for the formulations of stable, active-carrying emulsions.
